Quick Summer Tip!

Hey Guys! So in the summer we all tend to get the munchies. Oh the dreaded munchies. We try so hard to avoid it, but come on, we all know we cave in sometimes. So next time you're feeling the munchies coming on, try popping a piece of gum in your mouth! You're basically lying to your brain by saying, "hey i'm chewing so i am satisfying my hunger right?" (;

Face of the Day

Hey Guys!
     So today I wanted to share with you what I am wearing for makeup today! I have school today so it's nothing fancy, but I thought it might be fun to share!
     To start, I am wearing the covergirl true blend foundation in ivory(scary right?) as a concealer.
Next, I am wearing the elf clarifying pressed powder in the shade light beige. Then, the elf blush and bronzer duo(only the bronzer) all over my face. As a blush, I am wearing the zoe and zac naturals blush in the shade august sunrise. Finally as a highlight, I am using the elf all over color stick in golden peach.
        For eyes, I am wearing the NYX eyeshadow base in esb01(white). Then, I have MAC's all that glitters all over the lid. For crease, I used the crease color in the quartet NYC South Street Seaport. I also have the highlight color on. Mascara may vary. I don't remember which one i put on... sorry!

Junior High; You will be missed!

Hey bloggers! So this is off topic for this blog, but I wanted to share this experience.
       I recently graduated 8th grader which means I have completed my junior high career. These years have touched me in ways that no one could understand unless you've been through junior high and had the fun I had and did the things I did. These 2 years opened my eyes to new hobbies, new opportunities, and plenty of new people. Junior high wasn't all fun and games, but that was part of the experience. Going through the rough patches brought us all closer. Finding who you are is also all a part of this lovely thing we call junior high. I found that sports and makeup is where I am most comfortable. I meet amazing people who share the same passion as me. By having common interests with people, you meet friends that will be with you for a life time. A lot of girls in junior high claim to have best friends, and they are only friends for a month, but when you figure out that you can find a person you have a lot in common with that person(s) will be there for a while.

      In short, cherish the memories. Don't take any moment for granted, and try to remember as much as you can because when you're old, and you're sitting on the porch talking to your grandchildren, you'll want to be able to share this amazing period of time.

Nails of the Week: Sephora by OPI How Many Carats?

Hello, my blog lovelies! I hope everyone is enjoying their Monday.

      Today I wanted to show you my nail polish choice of this week! It's Sephora by OPI How Many Carats? This nail polish is the perfect neutral. I'm not one of those girls that loves the brown neutrals, but when it comes to silvers you don't have to say another word. This polish is glittery, but it's not chunky and obnoxious. It's very subtle(and of course matches with everything!). This color is also very versatile because it can be worn pretty much during any season. I love it during summer on my toes and on my nails and in the winter as well!

E.L.F. Candid Coral Blush

Hey Guys! This is my first blog post, and I am so excited to be sharing my opinions on products with you, and just having fun!

     Today I wanted to talk about the E.L.F. blush in the shade candid coral. I LOVE this blush. I think I have found my new best friend! This blush goes on smooth and stays on for a while. I'm used to my blushes being worn off by the end of the day, but no not this blush! I think this blush would work better for light skin tones only because i noticed it does go on kind of sheer. Being a light skinned girl I wouldn't really know, but if you want to try it I highly recommend it!
